Sheryl Lyons is a business leader, management consultant, and certified master coach with a passion for building vibrant workplace cultures that positively impact company performance. As a consultant, Lyons aligns the employee experience to the customer experience and equips leadership teams to execute a clear strategy. Her solutions create strategic clarity, grow managers into effective leaders, and equip leadership teams to thrive. As a Certified Master Coach, Lyons’ genuine and personable style guides individual leaders through a coaching process to develop new skills, explore possibilities and achieve their full potential. With a distinguished career in Operations, Business Development and Executive Leadership, Lyons applies over twenty years of expertise to her approach on deliberately constructing and managing unique and vibrant workplace cultures. Lyons launched Culture Spark in 2015 after three years as CEO for a professional services firm servicing entrepreneurial businesses in Houston, Texas. Lyons joined at the firm’s inception and worked her way to CEO over ten years. That executive leadership experience, coupled with years consulting leaders on solutions to their greatest business and people challenges, led Lyons to develop the “Spark” methodology that accelerates business growth and execution of ownership’s vision.

That’s the Spark.” Lyons holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts from Texas A&M University. She is an accomplished speaker and trainer on the topics of Workplace Culture and Effective Leadership. Sheryl has volunteered and served in leadership positions with Houston Community Tool Bank, Forbes Coaches Council, and the National Diversity Council, and is a member of the International Coach Federation, Growth Advocates, and the Industry Master’s Forum.

Lyons lives in Houston with her husband of 20 years, their two daughters (all native Houstonians) and three exotic pet tortoises. In her spare time, Lyons enjoys vocal music, gardening, gourmet cooking, camping, hiking, yoga, water sports and international travel.
