Katia Basley's Bio:
After graduating SMU with a degree in Psychology, Katia started a private catering service and worked for over five years as a personal chef. She soon realized that she was more passionate about organizing kitchens than cooking in them! After her home partially flooded during Hurricane Harvey, she and her husband realized there weren’t many reliable contractors or designers in Houston that would tackle smaller projects without huge purchases minimums or retainer fees, so Vision and Hammer was born. Katia loves the challenge of making spaces both aesthetically pleasing and functional for the whole family.
