Elizabeth Pringle Johnson is a partner with the law firm of Hanszen Laporte. Elizabeth specializes in commercial real estate secured lending, commercial real estate development and general business transactions. A native of Mobile, Alabama, Elizabeth has resided in Houston since 1982. She was a partner at the Winstead Firm prior to becoming the General Counsel and Senior Vice-President at Camden Property Trust.

Elizabeth graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She graduated in the top 5% of her law school class from the University of Alabama and was selected for the Alabama Law Review. She has served on the boards of West University Elementary School, Lanier Middle School and St. Agnes Academy. She was President of the Heart of Texas Chapter on the National Charity League and has volunteered extensively at Medical Bridges, Christian Community Service Center and Memorial Hermann Hospital. Elizabeth is the proud parent of Margaret and Caroline Johnson.

Amanda is an audit senior manager with Whitley Penn LLP in the firm’s office in Houston. In her capacity as an audit senior manager, she has served clients in the energy, construction, professional services, manufacturing and distribution, and ERISA industries.

She has experience working with private equity portfolio companies and closely-held businesses. She also has extensive public company audit and accounting experience. Her work with both private and public companies has provided extensive and diverse experience dealing with technical matters such as SOX 404, foreign currency matters, stock-based compensation, international operations (including IFRS), new accounting standard implementation and purchase accounting.

Amanda received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Houston. She serves on the Bauer College Alumni Association Board of Directors and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), and Young Professionals in Energy (YPE).

Jordan Golson is the Manager of the Private Bank Healthcare Team at Amegy Bank, serving Houston and the surrounding areas. In her 7 years at Amegy, Jordan has built a record of high performance and experience in assisting high net worth clients and medical professionals. She began her career with Amegy Bank in 2011 in their Officer Development Program and has since worked her way to Vice President in the Private Bank. Jordan received her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and currently resides in Pearland, Texas.

Melissa Salmeron is a Vice President and Treasury Management Sales Officer with Frost Bank; where she assists organizations through understanding their unique needs and helping develop strategies to maximize their working capital. Melissa has earned the Certified Treasury Professional designation and has more than fifteen years of experience in the banking industry.

Prior to joining Frost, Melissa was a Treasury Sales Advisor at Capital One N.A. in the New Orleans market and at Regions Bank in the Houston Market. Melissa brings her knowledge and experience and has worked with clients across multiple industries including: manufacturing and distributing, construction, healthcare and professional services.

Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science with dual majors of Marketing and Management from the University of New Orleans. In addition to her involvement on the Women’s Finance Exchange, Melissa is on the UT Health School of Nursing Advisory Board. She is also a fellow with the Center for Houston’s Future, a collaborative leadership program seeking to address some of the toughest problems in the Houston MSA. Melissa enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two children and is an avid reader and volunteer with her church.

Rebekah Bezerra is a Senior Consultant for StoneTurn Group, a leading forensic accounting, corporate compliance and expert services firm. Ms. Bezerra has engaged in a variety of litigation matters involving patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, and business valuation. Ms. Bezerra has worked with both plaintiffs and defendants in the analysis of economic damages, including lost profits, disgorgement of profits, and reasonable royalties. Ms. Bezerra’s experience spans across multiple industries including wireless telecommunications, e-commerce, consumer products, and oil and gas. Ms. Bezerra holds a B.B.A. in Accounting, Business Administration, and Spanish from Houston Baptist University, and a J.D. / M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.

Jessica Morrison is a Vice President at Bank of Texas, where she is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and managing new loan opportunities, as well as managing her loan portfolio out of the Houston office. Jessica has been with the bank for over six years, and has significant lending experience in the maritime, industrial, and oilfield services sectors.

Jessica is a Houston native, and received a B.B.A. in Finance from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Kim is a Partner in the audit practice of Melton & Melton, L.L.P. She has 16 years of audit experience with private companies in industries such as: construction, oil and gas, and other professional services. With her focus on employee benefit plan audits, Kim is a trusted business advisor to both publicly and privately held companies. This includes advising clients on performance improvements and opportunities for increased efficiencies. She also assists in developing the firm’s employee benefit plan training programs.

Kim earned her BBA and MBA from Southwest Texas State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is an active member of Women of Wardrobe. In her free time she enjoys being entertained by her three dogs Bruce, Dallas, and Junior.

Laurie-Leigh White is a Partner at BVA Group.  As a Partner, Laurie-Leigh is responsible for overseeing the execution of a variety of valuation and litigation engagements. Specifically, she specializes in the valuation of companies, partnerships, intangible assets, complex securities for financial reporting and tax purposes, and employee stock ownership plans. Laurie-Leigh also serves as the head of the firm’s Houston office and is a member of the firm’s management committee.  Laurie-Leigh received a Master of Science in Accounting, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern Methodist University, where she graduated with highest honors.  She is a Certified Public Accountant who holds the designation of Accredited in Business Valuation, and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers with an Intangible Asset Appraisal Specialty. Laurie-Leigh was recently selected as a recipient of the 2016 AICPA Forensic and Valuation Services Standing Ovation Recognition program, a program is designed to recognize professionals in the FVS practice area who are 40 or under, hold either the CFF and/or ABV credential, and have exhibited exemplary professional achievement.

Melissa was born and raised in Houston, Texas, where she graduated from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business in 2012 with a B.B.A. in Finance. While at the University of Houston she completed the Ted Bauer Leadership Certificate, was heavily involved in the Finance Association, and after being Community Service Director became President of Bauer Women Society. Melissa also worked for First Investors Corporation as a Financial Advisor Intern and a Human Resources Intern while still in school. Before joining BB&T as a middle-market commercial lender in August of 2017, she was employed by Amegy for four and a half years and served in various capacities. Melissa completed the Officer Development Program and corporate Credit Foundation Program simultaneously. Then she served as a credit analyst, portfolio manager, and ultimately a relationship manager in the International Lending Group for three years. Outside of work, Melissa is a certified 200-HR level yoga instructor, teaches meditation and is a health coach. She enjoys music, outdoor activities, reading, writing and cooking and values spending time with family and friends.

With extensive experience in the professional services industry, Susan serves as a Partner at AXIA Partners, where she specializes in business development and client relationship management in the areas of Accounting & Finance and Financial and IT Compliance. Susan maintains a high degree of entrepreneurialism consistently demonstrated in her ability to establish and develop long term relationships with her clients built upon solid business and industry perspectives, commitment to excellence and solutions-based performance. Previously, Susan served in a variety of national and local positions at SolomonEdwards to support and manage the growth of the firm and the Houston office.

Returning to the Big Four employer where she started her career, Deloitte, she opened the Houston office of a project-based service line, Resources Connection now Resources Global, as Client Services Manager. For the last twenty years, Susan’s focus has been on the operational perspective of professional services firms that provide business consulting services. She has held positions in recruiting, business development and project management.

Susan is a native Houstonian and an honors graduate of the University of Texas. A CPA licensed in the state of Texas, she is a current, long-term member of the state level TSCPA Board. Other leadership roles include the Women’s Finance Exchange Board as well as numerous memberships in other business and community service organizations. Her husband, Nick, and Susan, both native Houstonians, are busy raising their teenage daughter, Emma, and precious rescue pup, Jill.

Susan Mathews is Of Counsel in Baker Donelson’s Houston Office and a member of the Financial Services Practice Group. Susan clerked for The Honorable Robert B. Maloney, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Texas (now retired) and has been in private practice in Houston since 1987. She served on the Spring Branch Independent School District Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2010, and has been a member of the City Of Hedwig Village Planning & Zoning Commission since 2010 (currently serves as chairman). Susan is also a board member of the Spring Branch Education Foundation, Escape Family Resource Center (a 501(c)(3) educational organization) (serves as legal counsel), the Texas Federation of Republican Women (serves as legal affairs counsel), the Houston Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association, and recently joined the WFE Board. She received her B.A. from The University of Texas (majoring in government) and her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law. Susan has three grown children, ages 27, 24 and 21.

Ashley Casterlin is a brokerage associate with Davis Commercial Real Estate. She specializes in tenant representation, and the sale of commercial buildings and land sites across the Houston market. Ashley earned her BBA from Texas A&M University. In addition to her involvement with the Women’s Finance Exchange, she has served as a board member for the Gulf Coast chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Network for the past 2 years.
