JORDAN GOLSON

President

Jordan Golson is a Senior Vice President and Manager of the Private Bank Healthcare Team at Amegy Bank. Jordan received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Jordan began her career in the banking industry at Amegy Bank in 2011 and has experience working with physicians, physician practices, healthcare executives, and high net worth individuals. As a Private Banker, Jordan is responsible for supporting her clients in finding solutions that fit both their short-term and long-term goals.

Jordan maintains the Certified Healthcare Financial Professional designation, as well as the following licenses: General Securities Representative Examination(S7), Uniform Combined State Law Examination(S66) with LPL Financial, and the General Lines – Life, Accident, Health and HMO Insurance License through the Texas Department of Insurance.

Jordan and her husband, Tucker, live in Spring with their two sons, Jack and Brady. Jordan is on the Board of the Women’s Finance Exchange and is an active member of the community.

KIM MAREK

President-Elect

Kim is a Partner in the audit practice of Melton & Melton, L.L.P. She has 19 years of experience with private companies in industries such as: construction, oil and gas, and other professional services. She plays a primary role in the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Practice.  Her focus on employee benefit plan audits has made her a trusted business advisor to both publicly and privately held companies. She also assists in developing the firm’s employee benefit plan training programs.

Kim earned her BBA and MBA from Southwest Texas State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

CARLY JOUTRAW

Carly Joutraw is a Forensic, Litigation & Valuation Services (FLVS) Senior Associate with Whitley Penn LLP, where she engages in a variety of litigation matters involving patent infringement, theft of trade secrets, personal injury, and breach of contract. Carly is involved in matters dealing with the computation of economic damages, including the calculation of lost profits, reasonable royalties, disgorgement/unjust enrichment, lost earnings, and household services. Her experience spans a variety of industries including oil and gas, energy, transportation, consumer electronics, consumer products, and computer hardware and software, among others.

Carly was born and raised in Houston and received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas State University.

NICOLE DILLON

Membership

Nicole Dillon is a Credit Specialist at Bank of Texas in the Corporate Banking group, based in the Houston office.

As a credit specialist, she works closely with Relationship Managers to help grow the Bank’s assets by conducting credit analysis of financial statements for various transactions. She also helps with decision making and finding mitigants to risks related to a transaction. The Corporate Banking group at Bank of Texas covers all Commercial and Industrial industries including Distributors, Quick-Service Restaurants, Oil & Gas related fields, Home Health Care and many more.

Nicole was born and raised in the Houston area and is a graduate of University of Houston where she received a degree from the College of Business in Finance with a minor in Risk Management and insurance in 2019.

CARRIE GIBSON

Carrie Gibson is a Director with Corporate Tax Incentives based in the Houston office.

As a Director in the Business Incentives Group, she helps companies in the construction, manufacturing, technology, architecture, engineering, and oil & gas industries take advantage of very complex yet lucrative areas of the tax code. Carrie has helped hundreds of CPAs nationwide, and has been instrumental in helping U.S. businesses identify over $100 million dollars in tax credits and incentives.

Carrie is a native Texan, and lives in the Heights with her husband and two children. Carrie is a graduate of University of Houston where she received a degree from the College of Technology in Consumer Science and Merchandising in 2006.

TINJA ANDERSON

Programs

Prior to becoming a Financial Planner focused on building comprehensive financial strategies for closely-held organizations and individuals, Tinja served as a strategic sales and communications consultant. She has over a decade of executive level coaching experience, specializing in experience-based training and persuasive presentation. She has trained over 1500 professionals, globally, cross-divisionally, and cross-disciplines, and has assisted in building over 500 value proposition presentations. Tinja has been an integral part of developing proposals to affect change to meet and exceed global market demands.

Tinja was awarded “Rookie of Year” for MassMutal Greater Houston in 2019, and the NAIFA “Rising Star” in 2020.

She also serves as the Programs Chair for the Women’s Finance Exchange Houston, a board member for Summerhouse Houston, and supports other organizations like the Food Bank, Family to Family Network, and Say Yes to Youth.

Tinja is also a Collegiate All-American in Sailing (2006) and continues to live an active lifestyle. She enjoys running, swimming, cycling, and sailing.

KATIE PRICE

Treasurer

Katie Price is a tax senior manager with BDO USA LLP, a full-service global accounting firm. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas. Katie works in the private client services group specializing in tax consulting and compliance for closely held business and high net worth individuals. She also has worked closely with the corporate tax group on ASC 740 issues. She has ten years of experience working on a variety of clients and industries including real estate, manufacturers, investors, closely held business and their owners, professional services companies, healthcare groups, and high net worth individuals. Katie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Houston. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Christa is an Audit Managing Director with Crowe LLP and leads the Restaurant & Hospitality practice in Houston along with servicing various industries such as professional services, manufacturing and distribution, and oil field services.  She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas and has over a decade of experience providing audit and advisory services.  While serving on the Board of the Women’s Finance Exchange, Christa is an active Board Member for the Greater Houston Restaurant Association and Board Member of Daya Houston.

In her spare time, Christa is an adjunct professor for the University of Houston Downtown lecturing in Auditing and Accounting courses.  Christa enjoys traveling internationally and learning about various cultures.  Her favorite destinations were Portugal and Australia.  She is a foodie and excited to support new restaurants in Houston.

LILLY CULLEN

Lilly is a Vice President and Middle Market banker with Trust Bank. She supports middle market companies and not-for-profits with lending, deposit, risk management, and employee benefit solutions. Prior to her role as a Middle Market Banker, Lilly served as an underwriter and portfolio manager. She supported the structuring and closing of working capital facilities, capital campaign financing, and commercial mortgages. Lilly began her career with BB&T now Truist in 2012 when she entered the BB&T Leadership Development Program. Although not a native Houstonian, Lilly considers Houston home and is an active member of the community. Her commitment to Houston is evident through her involvement in various organizations. Lilly serves as a Trustee for the Houston Ballet and as a board member for the Women’s Finance Exchange. Lilly is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she received a degree in Finance and International Business in 2012.
